It should be noted that the tourist (Mussie Imnetu) was attacked in a small restaurant at the Bayswater Road end of Queensway (a fair distance from where Carnival mainly occurs), so , at this point, I’d suggest that realistically you couldn’t consider his killing to have have occurred ‘at Carnival’.
The media seem to be trying to portray the two events (Carnival and his murder) as somehow connected, which seems depressingly ‘clickbaity’ to me.
Still, a very nasty and sad business all round.
