Poor little fella has lost his tail. A cat probably got it. It will grow back eventually.
Haven’t seen any lizards around here in… Ever.
It won’t survive the winter. Seems like someone’s pet got out.
Did you manage to catch it?
Warmer places where geckos tend to live have warmer autumns and winters with more sunlight. You can keep it in a box or something for a bit. But a fish tank, heat light, and some crickets shouldn’t set you back too much.
Edit: didn’t know there were any lizards here. I thought, like cars any here were imported.
Ah class. I’ve seen one before in a place down in wexford
Sure he only said he got rid of the snakes. He’d a soft spot for the poor wee lizards.
Looks like a common lizard, they’re native you can sometimes see them sunbathing in the Sommer

That’s the common lizard. Usually it’s offspring will be named Shakira or Kelly-leigh
I’ve only seen one in my garden when I was a child and never again, class yokes
Lucky you I’ve never seen one in the flesh
Only ever spotted a handful in Ireland. every time I have spotted one, has been resting on a flat stone in the sun.
Damn climate change is coming on faster than I thought 😂
That is decidedly not a snake 😛 that is a Common Lizard
What sort of car insurance deals did he bring with him?
Where do they go in winter? Hard to believe when youre walking around in the December mud there could be a lizard under a rock near you

Going off this looks like a female Common Lizard
Saw loads in 2012 ish and saw 2 in 2022. First lot in a ditch. Next just on tarmac. Both sunny days.
I’ve only ever seen them twice. I completely forget they’re around.
