Heard this go off, multiple explosions and super loud even from limehouse
Where about is this in east London?
Apparently it’s for filming
Edit: it appears I got bad info, apologies!
Edit 2: it appears the info was good
I heard the booms. Too loud for the usual ricers on the A13
Heard this on the other side of the river in North Greenwich. Pretty loud explosions.
Fucking hell I thought it was thunder
Heard this too, from west London
I believe it’s for a music video or TV show. They sent a letter about it to local residents. It was supposed to happen last week, but I guess it was delayed because of the rain.
The company involved was BMG.
I thought I heard a loud bang during the West Ham game, wonder if it was this
There’s a post in the Isle of Dogs Facebook group saying there is filming of an explosion tonight and if you hear a big bang don’t worry. So, don’t worry.
Edit to add: there’s an article on the Sun’s website saying the same. Not linking it tho!
I was walking back from the West Ham game and saw this in the distance. Haven’t really been in this area of London I just assumed it was smoke from a factory
I think I need a change of clothes after that
This feeling when you are in a different country for a few days, and see a footage of familiar areas with fires and all these news on Reddit 😅
it’s part of filming
Ticketmaster’s server room?!
It’s crazy that this is legal. I live nearby and received no notification of the explosions. I’m sure I lost a few days of my life with all this panic, besides the fact that it’s probably very polluting.

Non-event everyone. Back to business.
Newham police tweeting “This was part of a pre-planned filming event in the Canning Town [#E16](https://x.com/hashtag/E16?src=hashtag_click) area.”
Fire brigade tweeting “Firefighters are responding to reports of a fire near Dock Road in [#Silvertown](https://x.com/hashtag/Silvertown?src=hashtag_click).”
I feel like someone has fucked up here somewhere.

Well it was the east, so it shouldn’t be surprising, my bet is someone said “ye fooking what?” And pulled out an RPG
It was for filming thank god ([source](https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/greenwich-east-india-quay-explosion-fire/))
I was at work in the o2. Entire building was shaking, crazy
Police have confirmed this is related to pre planned filming https://x.com/MPSNewham/status/1829964741525041559

Aren’t visual effects good enough nowadays?
