Honestly I had low expectations for Arda because of all the Turkiye fans.
After watching him play, man he is way too mature for a 19 year old. I think that he can easily develop as one of the best midfielders. Let’s see if he manages to break into the Starting XI.
Two things need to happen there. First of all he needs to develop his stamina a lot. He’s not weak – but he tires easily.
Second, stop going to the box man, we need to see him play playmaker instead of forward.
There were articles saying the same thing about Isco. Playing Arda that deep would be a waste of his attacking talent. He’s a good finisher and has a good final pass/vision like Ozil
Modric replacement? But Luka is still a young promising player, he should get a few chances imo. /s
It only makes sense if he can play a role similar to how Odegaard plays for Arsenal. But we already have Jude and I don’t expect Carlo to make these rogid tactical formations.
what bullshit, i don’t see him as a modric replacement. Modric has always been a different type of player.
Arda is closer to odegaard / james rodriguez kind of player.
