  2. Scoring 3+ goals with a clean sheet today would be a wonderful way to go into a national team break.

  3. Tonight’s game is going to be a very tough game. Freiburg played very well vs Stuttgart. Main thing I want to see is a compact defense tonight with no individual errors. Clean. Of course, as well the win and some goals, but mainly the defense.

  6. Pokal draw today as well, it will start around 15 mins before our match. Hope we avoid the powerhouses of the Zweite and Dritte Liga and just get Dortmund so that our guys will give a shit

    Seeing them win 7-0 yesterday, and us having the same issues as before, PLUS an unconvincing Transfer Window.

    I really pray something positive comes out of this season at the end

Something that I haven’t seen being talked much about yet, but I wonder why Kompany thought it’s a good idea to have Kim and Upamecano suddenly switch positions in defense, after they’ve already played well together the other way around in the first half of the last season, and also been more used to it before that, both domestically and in their national teams.

    It really makes you wonder, especially when you see where Kim lost that ball that led to the 2-1 for Wolfsburg, where usually the RB is positioned. It looks like we were playing a 3 man back line of Upa-Kimmich-Kim in that situation, while Boey was going forward towards the RW position, even ahead of Olise.

    Seeing how deep Musiala dropped throughout the match also felt quite odd, when Kimmich and Pavlovic (or Palhinha) could’ve done the same, and then play some of their dangerous long balls out of the back and over the opponent’s back line or to the wings, something that Musiala doesn’t do at all. I feel like we somewhat deprive ourselves of our strengths if we keep playing like this.

    It’s of no surprise that Upa was in a for him not familiar LB position when he misplaced his ball that almost led to the 3-2 for Wolfsburg, because in that moment Musiala was in the CB position, and because Musiala isn’t a natural defender, he didn’t mark the striker in his back at all, who then received the ball to shoot on goal.

    It’ll be interesting to see what Kompany will cook up for today’s match, but I hope we let our players play a bit more in their usual positions.

  11. Alright, sent in ticket requests for the Zagreb and PSG games yesterday. Zagreb shouldn’t be an issue, and PSG should be doable as well, though I might have to use the Zweitmarkt for that one (which I actually kinda prefer since you can choose specific seats)

    Rivals are all sleeping and not really up the level so far so we really have to be there

  14. I dont think we will see many changes compared to Wolfsburg lineup.

    Maybe -Davies -Pavlo, +palhinha +guerreiro but i expect the rest to be the same.
