Ukrainian soldier captures 28 Putin PoWs who surrendered when he aimed his tank at their bunkers

A Ukrainian soldier has revealed how he captured 28 Russian prisoners of war after aiming a tank gun at their bunker in Kursk.

Junior Sergeant Maksim said: “They weren’t in the mood for fighting.

“They were afraid.

“When soldiers can see a tank gun pointing at them, they can’t even imagine fighting it.”

Sgt Maksim, 35, worked as chef on a British oil tanker before signing up to defend his homeland when Vladimir Putin invaded two and a half years ago.

He said terrified Russian soldiers raised their guns above their heads in a symbolic act of submission as the tank bore down on their position.

  8. The Ukraine invasion exposed the untrained young Russian conscripts who are forced to fight. When the invasion started, there were no Russian patriotism of civilians joining to fight. On the Russian channels the Russian soldiers fighting on contract in Ukraine were complaining that they were told that their pay would be cut when they fight in Russia.

  15. An ambush is where the enemy doesn’t know you are there and holds his fire so you can get the first shots. Once the ambush is sprung, you must move away quickly because the enemy now knows where you are. I guess the Russians haven’t reach that point in their military training and got wiped out after springing their ambush.

  26. Russia is not in war with Ukraine only, come on we all know Russia is in war with all the west and they Ukrainian government is fighting on behalf of the US.

  29. Synkivka, Novohrodivka, Marynivka, Krasny Yar, Novozhhelanne and Kostiantynivka, these are the Ukrainian settlements that were occupied in the last few days. Pivnichne and Siversk are encircled, Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad and Toretsk are under siege. The Ukrainians managed to penetrate 30 km deep before getting halted. The biggest city Ukrainian troops captured is Sudzha with a population of 6000, the rest are basically farm land with minimal resistance. In the meantime the Eastern front is resupplied with inexperienced troops that simply can't hold the line. There is a reason Ukraine didn't start the offensive on the Eastern front to recapture occupied Ukrainian territories, they are facing strong opposition and not the weak reserve battalions like the ones near Kursk. They thought that Russia would regroup to defend those farm lands but they were wrong, the average Russians don't care about southern regions, they are the hillbillies of Russia. Ukraine opened a new front and that caused the Donbas front to weaken. Ukraine has to fight a defensive and offensive war on multiple fronts but sniping oil depots and supply lines is not nearly enough when Russia's main supply line on the East is uninterrupted. They even started advancing near Lyptsi and Vovchansk again. This situation has to be addressed, fast.

    MEANWHILE: Vuhledar, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Kupiansk – Russia is advancing everywhere. But the real disaster is in Pokrovsk area. In weeks from now, Russia will have taken Novohrodivka (15k ppl), Selydove (22k ppl), Ukrainsk (11k ppl), Hirnyk (11k ppl), Kurakhove (18k ppl), Toretsk (30k), Myrnohrad (46k) and Pokrovsk (60k)
