I ask myself is it the lack of manners and empathy or the way we built. I swear my appartement building from 2007 is subpar when it comes to sound isolation.
I think the materials used in recently built apartments are half of the problem. Manners or the absence thereof are the other half.

Those are still ok. Worse is when people make party all night, you hear people fucking and moaning like animals, or a baby crying all night …

Funny enough i see this post around this time. Lately my neighbor has been drilling and hammering shit early in the morning, at around 7, weekends included. It is hell.
Appartements are not isolated properly too I guess
