Putin ‘making a point’ as seven killed in western city Lviv | Ukraine War

At least seven people, including three children, have been killed in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv by Russian airstrikes.

It comes a day after two missiles killed more than 50 people and injured hundreds in Poltava.

Military analyst Simon Diggins tells Sky News President Putin is “making a point”, showing that Ukraine’s counter-offensive in Kursk is not stalling his effort in east Ukraine and “he can attack throughout Ukraine”.

  1. I can’t say I agree with everything this commentator says but he’s close enough to the truth that I’m actually shocked that Sky news has him on.😂

  2. Ukraine will win by russia going bankrupt. Everyone except generals seem to understand this. russia will go bankrupt in 2025. Russia increased taxes this year to try and prolong the unavoidable collapse.
With Ukraine hitting oil refineries and depos hurries this up. If the world also goes into recession as well in 2025 then oil prices collapse and russia with it

  3. I wonder why they forgot to mention that the building were 50 people died was a military facility where drone operators studied. I guess russians had to wait until those soldiers start to shell Donetsk and Belgorod with drones.

This is tragic what's going on but West really should stop encouraging Zelensky and convince him to agree to peace talk.

  4. I remember 2022 when war started, Sky news told us Russia will run out of missiles in 3months. 2+yrs down the line😂😂😂. Russia is fighting a HOLY WAR. against Western Hypocrisy, Evil Social Political and Economic wars which have destroyed many Countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Bullying other nations defines the Collapse of US-led West Hegemony.

  5. But wasn't the Kursk incursion supposed to create a buffer zone to avoid Russian missile attacks to begin with?

  6. No mention that those drones and missiles in western Ukraine, 'near the Polish border', were against "Ukrainian defence industry facilities based in Lvov, which manufactured and repaired electronic components of AFU aircraft and missile weaponry".
Nor that the attacks on the energy infrastructure are to disrupt trains transporting weapons, ammunition and troops to the eastern frontline.

  7. Please stop personalizing this brutal aggression against the Ukrainian people as being something Putin is doing. EVERY Russian shares responsibility and guilt for Moscow's war crimes.

  8. As John kirby said it's only collateral damage, that's what happens in war, but that was the answer to gaza, I suspect this will be different
