If you didn’t get this ‘could you live with the shame?’
Ruined a perfectly good Fleetwood Mac song.
And there’s nowhere I’d rather beeeeee….
That reminds me….I may look into a sturdy fence.
I hear there’s a Lego shop opening in Dublin
I was and still am in awe of the effects.
20 years later a car clipping a curb and playing bowling with a child still looks realistic.
Unless they didn’t use special effects…
Where we are going we don’t need roads.
When adverts were hardcore.
Very original post there lad.
Always looked like the dad was hopping the car to give the driver a good thumping.
That was a horrific ad
It’s so old it’s in 240p. For the best..
Shall I tell you about my life
It was some tackle by the car to be fair
I remember the fella took.his goal very well, great finish and iconic celebration also. Legend
Used to see the opening second of this and dash for the remote to change the channel.
Always wondered how effective the ad was if everyone was doing the same.
The one with the couple by the wall was fuckin nuts!
i think for most of us, this was the first scary ad we faced. but the more see saw the rest of them, the more we just got desensitised and even laughed at how over the top they were.
Out of millions and billions of ads I’ve seen in nearly 5 decades of being glued to the telly, that one has had the most lasting impact, in fact it’s probably the only ad that’s ever had an impact on me and I won’t risk driving even after just half a glass of wine or a smirnoff ice.
But jesus, some way to ruin one song for ever and ever!!!!
