The idiom is “ambaradan”, not “ambaran”
Curiously enough, the Ethiopian army was supported even by Hitler because Mussolini objected to his policy with Austria.
British propaganda loved to portray Ethiopia as a savage land with an army equipped with spears and shields, but in reality it was well equipped in both the Italo-Ethiopian wars. In the second the lack of armored division, aviation and countermeasures to the chemical warfare proved fatal.
