1. They spent like a billion on the first season apparently. The LOTR media franchise is honestly in a worse place than Star Wars. At least in Star Wars, there is Andor & Mando S1-2.

   The Hobbit Trilogy was a failure and the Rings of Power is pretty much a failure at this point. I’m hoping for the upcoming animated movie to be good.

2. Hmm, something tells me that season one might be to blame here. 🤔

3. I mean, it’s SUPER slow and boring. I barely made it through the first season and found myself falling asleep in every episode. It’s just… not good

4. Im enjoying it, but I’ve leveled my expectations. I love JRR’s work, and Jackson’s so I’m just soaking up more LOTR media.

7. I watched season 1 but with all the great television series out there it seems silly to waste my time with, at best, mediocre.

13. I really like it. I’m not a die hard LOTR fan (I tried with *The Silmarillion*. I really did), but I enjoy what it is and how it is. It was never going to be perfect, and unfortunately we may never get a complete show because of negative reactions.

14. I literally can’t imagine how this show could be worse. Epic fail. Did they even read Tolkien at all, ever?

16. Maybe don’t have a 2 year gap between seasons. I enjoyed the first, but I feel like I have to catch up now.

17. Season 1 was not good but season 2 storytelling is a lot better.

18. The writing is garbage and the show costs are exorbitant for unknown reasons, total disaster.

19. Maybe because the first season was so laughably awful. I couldn’t get through the first three episodes before giving up. It was just soooo bad.

20. I can’t get through the second episode of season 2. It’s just so boring. Tried 3 times.

21. Can we just have good writing please? That’s really all that matters.

23. The start of the second season of the show seemed slow to me. In my opinion, it doesn’t really take off until the third episode.
