  1. My vote, is tyre swings for every park and garden throughout the land!

  2. Still no hazardous waste landfill in the country so probably export them to Germany for disposal. Northern Ireland has one.

  3. The UK has a process to turn them into a substance to fix potholes….so probably that.

  4. CRH wanted to use the to fuel the cement furnace in Limerick

  5. They used to chop them up for crumb rubber. Bord na mona took over the factory that did this a few years ago and I’m not sure if they still do this.

  6. Turn them into Ho Chi Minh flip flops for when we get the few days of good weather.

  7. Make roads quieter and slightly more grippy by putting them in the Tarmac.

  8. Sure do what the rest do, pay India to ‘recycle’ them… 🔥🔥🔥

  9. The north cunts will smuggle them for the culturally bullshit bonfires maybe?

  10. I know some lads up in Ballycraigy who’d accept them round about start of July….

  11. Chop em up and use them to make that soft play material they have at playgrounds.

  12. Aren’t tyres one of the things very easily recycled and repurposed etc? I’ve seen many videos of them being ground down, melted and then reused for more tyres

  13. Turn louth into a silage pit, tjres can definitly be used there

  14. Let’s make more race tracks and use them as tyre barriers!

  15. You can build a house from tyres. Concrete poured inside, lime wash outside. It’s basically Lego.

  16. Build an earthship village. 1970s house design that uses tyres on one wall as insulation. Can’t see that happening here though!

  17. have you heard of king billy and his love of erection shaped fires?!?!?

  18. Have the counciks hand them out for halloween bonfires?

  19. We need to seriously consider burning them and use the fumes/smoke to propel electric turbines and covert to energy.

  20. Maybe do what they are experimenting with in the UK and they are adding the rubber from the tyres to the tarmac they use for roads. It will be a good way to remove a lot of them maybe not all but a good idea I think.

  21. A licenced tyre recycler picks them up brings to his depot and bails them and sends them to Africa. His paid to take them and paid to sell them on again.
