  1. the main reason that these women are going to backwards countries in the middle east is prostitution and to get shit on for cash. So they really shouldn’t be surprised.

  2. I’m sure she is loving the attention all this article and new subscribers this article is bringing.

  3. I think it’s sad that because of her profession people seem to have no empathy for the scary situation she is in. She wasn’t producing any work over there. Was Jordan the safest country for her to travel to? No. Does that mean she deserves the treatment? No. Does she deserve help? Yes.

I have a promiscuous past, and have had relationships with men before.

Arab countries are just not on my destinations list. Jordan at least doesn’t criminalise homosexuality but I’d still give it a swerve.

If I were a porn actress, I wouldn’t dream of visiting.

  5. Why all the hate? She isn’t doing anything illegal in Europe or the US. Neither did she do anything illegal in Jordan. She was arrested because they recognised her and a group of misogynistic horny men in Jordan are getting off on this. Why do the authorities in Jordan care what UK citizens do in the US? It’s none of thier business. Edit: One of the most annoying things about porn is how much hate pornstars get and how many people are watching it.

  6. Which will win, racism or misogyny? Find out below.

  7. ‘Models’ are not going to these ultra-conservative desert wasteland countries for ‘holidays’. They’re going there for work, and some of the stuff they’re strongly rumoured to get up to with the ultra rich men over there is extremely degrading and unsavoury.

  8. Alexas claimed it was only after 17 hours that they let her call her family back home in Miami, Florida. She said she was also transported to court by “four policemen armed with machine guns” and was asked to make a statement to a judge without a lawyer.

Alexas, who remains in Jordan, said she is now in limbo and is unsure what will happen to her next – and has asked the American Embassy for support.
