I’m currently visiting Scotland, and I love seeing cats in other countries. I feel like all the cats I’ve seen here have short and wide faces. Is this just how Scottish cats look? Or is this just happenstance?

These all look fairly standard for a typical Scottish moggy that wanders the streets
The hoity-toity purebreds with rounder faces, like the British shorthair, tend to be kept indoors, so you see less of them out and about
If this is the guy who is is always getting shit for posting about Scottish human face shapes etc, I must admit this is a hilarious development.
Thats evolution of eating the left over fish in a discarded chippy shallow wide tray.

Here’s the neighbours cat as another data point for you
I’ve noticed ragdolls are quite popular here (I have two) also a lot of domestic cats look like the wildcats
I know it’s just confirmation bias but dang all these cats look Scottish as fuck
