No it hasn’t, the Telegraph runs these ridiculous Little Englander articles now and then…with Simon Heffer being the main offender. There is no state called ‘England’ which can do this anyway…presumably he means the British government.

is nearly 9% of the UK, it has a third of our landmass, and where our Nuclear deterrence is based from.
Anyone who that thinks ‘England’ as a successor state…presumably without NI and Wales as well… would be stronger after that has got a fucking screw loose. It would be a shrivelled little limp dick of a country.
