  1. Probably didn’t help that he also authorised bombing their families.

  2. Can you admit your war crimes and surrender yourself to the Hague first?

  3. I forgot this pos was knighted. Tells you all you need to know about the people doing the knighting.

  4. If we didn’t go into Iraq we couldve had 12 destroyers and 3 aircraft carriers now.

But instead we used that money for Iraq in ~~order to spread democracy stabilize the region stop them making WMDs destroy the WMDs they already had win the war against terror~~ …wait why did we do it again? The US did to satisfy populist bloodthirst after 9/11 why did we do it? To preserve the special realtionship? How is that going? We have a nice trade deal with them now, right? Right?

  5. He is saying this not out of remorse, not out of concern but because he is rubbing the publics nose in the fact he will never be held accountable well not in this life for his actions. These reports are done only to rile people up make them angry because the elite are untouchable.

  6. Outrageous.

    Tony Blair should have said:

“Blowing up multiple countries in order to combat, at the time, a tiny minority of criminal non-state actors, whose actual capacity to threaten the existence of any nation was basically nil, was, in hindsight, a mistake, as military action should only be deployed against military threats. Covert actions should have been the only reaction to the terror threat. Instead, myself and Bush caused mutiple nations to fall completely into chaos, gave birth to ISIS, and caused one of the biggest migrations in recent history. Having caused that migration, neither the US government, the UK government, or the people of either nation, have any business complaining about the effects of that influx, to anyone except myself and Bush, and our hangers on. It’s on us, and us alone.

We should have isolated our poor and middle class from the costs of this, because it was the rich who benefitted from it the most, and therefore their job to pay for the knock on effects, and this we also failed to do. It’s understandable that Bush didn’t do that, because he’s a conservative, but for a Labour man to fail to do right by the largest and most important sector of the British public (the poor and middle classes), in order to lessen the impact of immigration and asylum on them, was also a huge mistake. To be honest, I’m tempted to hand myself in to the authorities, such a major mess did I make of all the decision making, and even my choice of ideology from the outset of my time in politics.”

That’s what the prick should have said.

  7. I reckon he is the well known prime minister mentioned in the epstein case. Certainly the connections were there and it would explain his complete betrayal of his voters and “values”.

  8. Islamophobia was made up by ISIS… look up the origins of the word. Very interesting.

  9. It’s funny that Blair gets blamed but a current politician can get stuck into illegal wars and escape criticism. The presence of Turkish Barbers shows how much immigration comes from Kurdistan. Afghans blend in a bit easier and I don’t know numbers for them. Eritreans lot of them too due to US support of that dictatorship .and now refugees from Africa, and North Africa due to supporting dictatorships there and killing Gaddafi. Ukraine and Hong Kong(I know the public supported these visas) I just find it incredulous that we support these wars but expect no consequences in a global age.

I don’t believe immigrants are engaged in criminality in my area and I no longer believe it’s very high after leaving the EU but if culture is a thing then it’s the politicians destroying it, not the migrants, most of whom come legally to settle

  10. Nothing compared to what the Iraq War did to the world. I really do fucking hate Tony Blair.

  11. These immigrants Tony is talking about, were white Europeans. They integrated.
Today’s problem comes from millions of other immigrants, who came after dear Tony illegally bombed a few countries, directly leading to ISIS growing, and many people had to flee from.

  12. Hi people of Reddit who were adamant that he was great and did not cause immigration issues.

    He’s now said it himself.

Anything you’d like to add about this muppet?

  13. “Strain”???? He fundamentally and irreversibly undermined the entire demographic and cultural makeup of our formerly cohesive society. Tony Blair is the devil.

  14. Another migrant story, maybe go set up r/ihatemigrantsuk and let us get back to enjoying this sub?

  15. Can we now accept that the immigration we’ve had over the past 20 years hasn’t all been sunshine and roses then?

  16. O those same ‘strains’ that if anybody talked about them you were labelled Xenophobic, racist or right wing extremist?

  17. Labour’s intention was to ‘rub our noses in diversity’. That’s been confirmed. All this ruin of community cohesion has been wrought very deliberately by childish, spiteful Labour apparatchiks.

  18. This guy is an absolute cunt and I wish he’d fuck off into the mediocrity he absolutely deserves. Why is he even still remotely relevant? And more importantly, why does anyone listen?

  19. Population growth **allows for the expansion of labor and products which then grows the economy**. It is not just about more products being made, there must also be demand for those products! With a larger population, there will inevitably be more demand for products.

“[traumascares](https://www.reddit.com/user/traumascares/)”UK public expenditure is currently £1,040bn per year ([source](https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/public-spending-statistics-release-february-2023/public-spending-statistics-february-2023#total-expenditure-billions))

    * UK population is 68.8 million (2023 data)
    * UK public spending per person is therefore £15,116 per person

So, you need to be paying more than £15k of tax for each year to be a “net contributor”.

Roughly you need to earn around £4,970.00 per month or £66,614.52 and you pay around £15,245.40 total tax for the year.

  20. Mr Tony Blair has always lacked the ability to offer a coherent defence to his beliefs.
