Since I want to say 2016, I have seen this advert across from the bus stop I get on at (Regent Bridge), but I have never known what it’s actually for. I’ve googled and I get a book from 2019 but images of this have been popping up from a few years before then. Does anyone have any idea on what this is for? Thanks 🙂

I’ve always wondered about this too. I thought maybe at night time the light turns on and reveals more of the poster? I’ve never seen it at night time so I have no idea.
Here’s some info on it. It’s related to the book you found – [Billboard for Edinburgh](https://www.inglebygallery.com/exhibitions/6345/overview/)
It’s for the mithril mine and associated ithildin smelter underneath Calton Hill.
its both and advert for and part of an art exhibition by Kate Paterson.

I want to hate the pretentious nonsense but after googling it some of the haikus have caught my imagination. Like this one. How would it work? Could I make a door that only opens when a certain spectra of light hits it? Would the place exist anyway, but only accessible in moonlight? Does that count for the statement?
There’s one about stained glass returning to sand in the desert that appeals to me as well..
I think it was for an exhibition at the Ingleby Gallery which used to be in the building below. I love it.
Would appear to be a place that exists only in moonlight
The building it is on the side of used to be the ingleby gallery.
