  9. We should be sanctioning them to as harsh a degree as possible. We should be seizing anything of any Russian citizen that sits within our territory. We should go so far as to punish other countries simply for doing business with them. Call me an isolationist. I tire of this regime and their meddling.

  26. I don’t understand why this is even news. We have crippling sanctions going on against Russia right now, why would we ever assume they aren’t going to try to interfere in our election? What exactly have they got to lose at this point?

    I mean I’m not on their side but why would anybody assume that this isn’t going to happen?

  34. Just in case anyone forgets, in 2016 it was Republican leadership who said there was clear evidence of Russia interfering in our elections and they pressed for sanctions, which were passed by both parties.

    Then Trump was elected. Trump lifted the sanctions and said any reporting of Russian interference was a lie, so that became the new Republican truth, even though the Mueller investigation led to multiple convictions, further proof of Russian interference and Republicans like Roger Stone admitting they were working with Russia.
