Finally some positive news.
hmmm…why was this hunt allowed by the court?
As a Norwegian I’m against this, but people in rural areas will say it’s necessary, that they fear for their children’s lives and for their livestock. Wolves get blamed for every sheep that dies, even though many get sick or fall off cliffs, or get eaten by other predators like lynx or wolverines.
I believe there’s an anti-wolf hysteria in some parts of Norway, and people who own livestock in particular benefit because they hope to get reimbursed by the state for any lost animals. They’ll just say it’s wolves instead of taking better care of their livestock.
Have we learned nothing from the past 200 years? When you hunt wolves, ecosystems start to fall apart!

Just kill the wolves. There are no Scandi wolves left, they’re all gone. Inbread Siberian wolf’s for some nostalgia limiting roaming freedoms and farming? No thanks.
