4. Ronaldo is the greatest player I’ve had the pleasure of being able to see , I wish we could’ve seen him in Milan’s colors . Read some report it was possible in 2018 before he decided to go to Juve but we felt he wasn’t worth the wages . He’s scored 200+ goals since 2018

6. Always so criminal that awards like these traditionally placed more value on attacking players. Maldini is a perfect example of someone who more than met all the criteria and was the most outstanding, particularly at his position. (As evidenced by the nominations.)

   Also, this list omits the fact that **Beckenbauer also received 12 nominations**. And just behind that is **Zlatan Ibrahimović, who was nominated 11 times**.
