  3. Its fucking hot on the continent, not to mention going on vacation to southern Europe this summer.

    It’s been a struggle, best time of day from 4:30-7:30 am and 9:30-11pm

  10. France was lucky this summer, no heat waves until August and now summer seems to be over, from next week we’re going below 20°C.

  16. Eastern Europe had 3 weeks of 40C, I have never experienced such heat.People saying “yeah but Romania had its worse temperature at 42C in the 30*”

    My brother in christ its the lenght of these heat waves. I’ll take a 3 day heat with a max of 42 rather then 3 weeks of 40.

    I remember walking my dog at 11pm and it was still 30C

  17. Love the contrast from the scorched by the sun continentals to those out getting lashed by the Atlantics fury. Does anyone know where the middle ground was? I think their tourism sector is going to grow exponentially next season.

  18. Oddly enough in Ireland that can frequently result in our summer weather being notably worse than normal as the weather patterns drive chaos in the polar vortex which tends to drive unstable, cloudier and wetter weather into this area of the NW Atlantic.

    We had a pretty abysmal summer this year.

    The result of that has tended to be a lot of people online pointing at our bad summer and concluding it’s all nonsense.

  24. Ireland was shite this summer, but that’s nothing new.

  25. In Germany, June and July weren’t too bad outside of an occasionaly 3-4 day stretch of high temps. I didn’t go to a lake or pool until mid-July. However, the last couple of weeks have really felt like summer. Will start cooling off next week thankfully.

  26. In Paris, it’s like we’re already in autumn. Tomorrow the max temp is 18 degrees. 🙁

  27. Tell that to us Parisians lol. Feels like we’ve barely had a few weeks of summer in August and it’s already gone
