The EU has a right to defend itself even if the danger is within. Besides, Hungary made that “free visa to russians” plot enitrely on it’s own, without the involvement of the EU, while it’s strongly endangers any other country within. A precedent will be set regardless of any retorsion or not – the question is which one.
I am sorry to say it seems necessary to make Hungarians feel their bad political decisions.

It is clear that those 7.5 million hungarian could not solve this issue internally in the past 14 years. I am unsure id this would help them. But I do understand and share the frustration.
