    £350 is a good bit more over here, add also wages are lower here than in the US.

    At least Noels tickets were VIP, included free merch, an Oasis memorabilia tour and front row seats.

Suede are my favourite ’90s’ band they toured recently with manic street preachers and were fantastic – didn’t rip off the fans. Okay maybe they can’t but I’d like to think that even if they could those bands wouldn’t ask £350 plus per ticket. Surely the initial £150 could have been stuck to it’s still a lot of money but it made sense £350 though is ridiculous. Bothers me how greedy so many people and businesses and bands and stuff are in the world people just seem to want more and more whilst other people live in houses made of mud and eat flour mixed with water for dinner. More fairness please.

    Their attitude was part of the appeal. I can imagine Reddit in 1976 commenting on the Sex Pistols (although that was all much more contrived).

    They were relatable, they were honest, they had attitude and made loud, distorted rock which stood them out at the time.
    They were the AC/DC of Indie back in the day (or some such).
    Back in the day all the people at their gigs were rock fans, first and foremost.
    If you look at the crowd and Knebworth the crowd look like decent folk and that was at the tip of their fame.
    It was all downhill from there (all those shit albums).
    In the years after all the coke-head wanker wellends got into them.
    All the music fans had moved on to other stuff.
    The zeitgeist had moved way on.
    I saw them at Wembley in 2000 and the crowd were OK but there were a good few aggro cnuts about.

    It’s only got worse since.
