Liam Gallagher tells fan to ‘shut up’ as he jokes about ‘kneeling only’ tickets

   Liam Gallagher has poked fun at the Oasis ticket row by joking that shows cost £100,000 and are “kneeling only”.

   The band’s frontman, 51, responded to [the dynamic pricing tickets furore](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/08/31/oasis-ticket-sale-live-websites-crash/) for the band’s reunion tour Oasis Live ‘25 by responding to fans on social media.

   In a series of posts on X, formerly Twitter, Gallagher responded to one fan who asked if he had any spare tickets, saying: “S— loads, but they’re really expensive. 100 thousand pounds. Kneeling only.”

   Earlier, the lead singer had written: “Oasis are back your [sic] welcome and I hear there [sic] attitude stinks, good to know something’s [sic] never change.”

   His comments follow Thursday’s announcement that the [competition watchdog had launched an investigation](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/09/05/watchdog-launches-investigation-oasis-ticket-sales/) to assess whether Ticketmaster may have breached consumer protection law by not warning its customers of dynamic pricing.

2. Problem is as long as the majority of people continue to pay stupid prices for tickets nothing will change. The powers that be will just claim “supply and demand” and that’ll be the end to it.

   Like a great film from the 80s said… “the only winning move is not to pay”.

3. Ticketmaster can price at whatever they want.
   Doesn’t mean we have to buy the tickets though.

   Why would anyone stop price rises when numptys keep buying the tickets no matter the price?

   If the business model isn’t failing then things ain’t changing bud.

   Yeah i know all companies treat their customers lile cash cows but they at least pretend they care.
