I grew up listening to my parent’s music collection and my mother loved Brazil ‘66. RIP, Sergio…and thanks for the memories. 👍🏾❤️🎶
Holy shit. A true icon
Oh no! R.I.P. Sergio
I know this isn’t much of a tribute, but I remember early interviews with Harrison Ford in which he talked about his life before hitting it big. He was a carpenter and one of his first jobs was working on Sergio Mendes’ home. Ford said he was such a newbie at construction that he had a hammer in one hand and a library book on carpentry in the other hand during the job.
