The deadly ground drones giving Ukraine’s frontline soldiers an advantage

In this video, an unidentified Ukrainian Special Forces soldier showcases three key unmanned ground vehicles that can enhance battlefield capabilities for frontline soldiers defending Ukraine.

– The TerMIT, or Tracked Modular Infantry Transporter, boasts a 300kg payload and modular design, enabling it to carry casualties, military equipment and offensive weapons.

It has front and rear cameras, night vision and a 20-hour power pack, ensuring operational flexibility.

– The Shablya is a remote-controlled combat platform with a 7.62mm machine gun that can destroy enemy armoured vehicles and UAVs, offering versatility and ease of control.

– Lastly, the Lyut, known in English as the Fury, features a formidable PKT 7.62mm machine gun that can navigate complex terrain and is ideal for diversionary tactics and pinpointing enemy positions.

  1. born too late to discover the world 😔
born too early to discover the universe 😮
born just in time to watch cyberdyne enslave humanity 🤣

  2. This development seems inevitable. And I guess it would be a good thing if future wars where fought by machine armies instead of people having to die.

  3. Ukraine doesn't have a single advantage. They are doomed. Their capabilities are really exhausted. Maybe they have 1 year more before total operational disarray.

  4. I've seen the video of (allegedly) TerMIT trying to evacuate a casualty shot from the (allegedly) russian drone. Didn't go well. In the age of non-stop UAV observing the battlefield, the open carriage is death sentence.

    Armored with what, cardboard?

  5. It would realy suck to be a front line soldier in modern warfare, some coward who is hiding in a bunker controls an robot or a drone wich will end you, allso artilery is scary as well

  6. Barring extremely good luck, you can't use a gun shooting 7.62 mm ammunition (.30 caliber) to "destroy enemy armored vehicles".

  7. Ukraine use drone as frontline unit, Russia use drone as frontline unit, expenses getting higher as drone destroy each other then russia and unkrain agrees to battle it out on war thunder to save money but then again gaijin is a russian bias studio.

  8. I can see the value of The weapons platforms, you can carry heavy machine guns across difficult terrain without using soldiers and do it more easily do the fact of their wheeled, which also make them easier to redeploy.

  9. Funny i havent seen anything about these in the reports thus far , been following this conflict on a daily basis since it started in 2014 and again in 2022

  10. Air and sea drones make sense. Ground don't. They're too easy to kill by low tech weapons like RPGs or air drones. Ground drone are no cost effective.
