My mom is Welsh, born and raised in Blaina and she ended up meeting my dad on a cruise ship they both worked on and moved to the states years ago. I was born in the US but we visit as often as we can afford. I was gifted a love spoon before my wedding and I proudly display it in my home. This may be a silly question to ask but my friend and her husband have been trying to conceive for 5+ years, would this be a good love spoon to give them-It’s a new baby love spoon. I know the Welsh Dragon is for protection and strength as a symbol of Wales and the daffodil is for growing and flourishing together; hopes for a long and fruitful life.
They are destined to be parents and any child they would have would be the luckiest child alive. I want to give them something to continue to give them hope/strength. If it’s not a good thing to give them now I will wait to gift it to them when they have children. TIA

Sorry if this comes across as harsh but I don’t think that’ll bring them much luck.. it’s literally a car crash. Looks like Chinese made tat.
Maybe have a go at making them a simple spoon yourself and you can invest it with luck/love/thoughts whilst you make it..
If you’re not the maker type you could ask someone to make something nice..
Depending on your budget, Cadwyn Gifts sell a lovely wooden, hand-carved love spoon perfect for new babies (which I’ll be buying in a few months for a family member) which you could personalise with the baby’s name and DOB etc. You can find it [here](https://www.cadwyngifts.com/products/new-birth-lovespoon-008)
