6. Deported implies they were sent back to their rightful country of residence. These children were not deported. They were kidnapped by ruSSia.

   If you read through the history of Ukraine and Russia, Ukraine had always been the gem and cultural centre of the eastern slavs. Even during the Soviet Union, Ukraine was the military and scientific stronghold of USSR.

   Putin envies this and wants to revise history and bring back the russian empire with Russia and its ideology as the primary power of the empire, as his legacy to the russian people before his time comes.

   He had perfect timing in 2014 when Ukraine was in an internal revolution.
   He miscalculated in 2022 thinking it would be the same outcome.
