Zelensky accuses UK of dragging heels on deliveries of long-range missiles

   Volodymyr Zelensky accused Britain of slowing down[ deliveries of long-range missiles](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2024/09/04/ukraine-russia-war-latest-news23/) during key Nato weapons talks.

   The Ukrainian president said Britain and other allies were showing a “shortage of missiles and cooperation” with fresh shipments of Storm Shadows and other ammunition.

   He pleaded with London and Washington to loosen restrictions on the weapons to strike deep inside Russia as he seeks to [turn the tide of Moscow’s invasion ](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2024/09/06/ukraine-russia-war-latest-news24/)in Kyiv’s favour.

   Mr Zelensky delivered his message directly to Western defence ministers on Friday during his first in-person appearance for talks at the Ramstein air base in Germany.

   “We hear that your long-range policy has not changed, but we see changes in the Atacms, Storm Shadows and Scalps – a shortage of missiles and cooperation,” Mr Zelensky told the gathering.

   “And this applies even to our territory, which is occupied by Russia, including Crimea. We think it is wrong that there are such steps.”

2. Look, I think everyone “accusing” everyone who could deliver but don’t do it, because Why? And picking word “accusing” is deliberately scandalous by article writers.

3. Probably the usual arm-twisting from the US.

   First they let Russians rebase their aircrafts from their bases and then asked Ukraine – “Why do you need missiles if Russian aircrafts are so far from the border”

   Same will happen when Russia later invades NATO members.

4. Got a lot of balls making accusations and demands. You need to be knocked down a peg or two and be grateful and humble for what you’ve already received. Everyone could have said no and allowed Russia to run shot over you. You’re very ungrateful!!!!

   “The quickest way to end this war is to provide weapons to Ukraine,” he said in a meeting with Norway’s prime minister on Friday.
