I don’t know why, but seeing so much greenery next to skyscrapers is so funny to me
After they finally finished the renovation I’m there almost every day <3 One of my favourite places in Warsaw. Absolutely brilliant park and I feel super lucky for living right next to it. As a fun fact, I think it was one of the first airports in Poland before the war? Then they turned it into a park and nowadays our National Library is also there. There’s a cool lake, three bars, volleyball field, fancy lights at night and Japanese trees. Perfection 😉
Sadly r/europe doesn’t allow pictures in the comments, I myself wanted to post some more photos from there: there are many more super picturesque places in the park (but still your picture is really cool!), especially the lake with lights at night and the pedestrian bridge over Niepodległości Avenue. The view of the Warsaw skyline at night from that bridge (why is there no word for *kładka* in English lol) is so insane that it’s sometimes hard to pass lol because people constantly stop to take pictures.
