Needs to be a change in the law where if you one-punch kill someone, you can still be convicted of murder. Whether or not there was intent to kill shouldn’t matter, its common knowledge that a significant amount of trauma to the head can be lethal.
I’ve yet to think of a time I’ve been out on Broad Street / Brindley place and not seen some thuggish twats kicking off. Kind of scary to think how easily this could’ve been anyone stepping in to try and diffuse a situation.
What sort of “closure” will the family get from this? Guy got a fucking slap on the wrist. The question isn’t whether it should be murder or manslaughter but whether such a short sentence is justice.
Well, that proves he shown no remorse for his actions, Sentence should be appealed and given another 15, If he shows his thumbs, cut them off.
