I don’t think many people would miss facebook beyond messenger. WhatApp and messenger are an issue though. Too many people rely on them at present.
If Europe wasn’t a lobbyist’s playground they would be banned.

I haven’t seen one comment on any article complaining about FB potentially having to shut up shop in Europe. If everyone is cheering the demise of your business, left wing, right wing, whatever, then you have a problem beyond the help of marketing

They’ve been getting small businesses to take out half page ads in the Irish Times too, singing their praises and how essential they are.
Going to be a lot more of that before we’re rid of them.
Meta: EU, your rules have to change or we’ll leave.
Zhe Germans: I deleted Facebook last year, my life’s been great! Meta leaving the European market would be a good thing.
