  1. Poland is really crushing all these statistics in recent times! And to think that one of their direct neighbors is at war and they have taken in thousands of refugees, it really is impressive how positive things seem to be going. They are definitely doing something right…

  2. Haha, the Polish regions are the ones that voted a couple months ago for the current ruling coalition

  3. I moved out of Poland 16 years ago, and every time I visit I am impressed by the amount of progress they have made. The EU has contributed a lot, and it helps that for the most part, the money has been invested wisely. Fingers crossed our uncivilised Eurasian neighbour doesn’t spoil it once again.

  4. I live in Zuid-Holland and I can confirm that at least 58.5% of the population is pessimistic.

  5. It is said, if there were an OL discipline for complaining, we Danes would be the champs. Us being on that map, makes me question the whole thing.

  6. I live in Dolnośląskie and can confirm that I am happy here and most I know as well. Still, was not expecting to see it on 1st place, in fact, I wasn’t even expecting it to be on the list!

  7. It is naive to think that life will become better, the context simply makes it impossible, it will be more and more difficult but we can adapt and prepare ourselves for a less painful future. It will already be easier for future generations to find happiness because they will not have known this transition.

  8. I wonder if South Holland is based on the feeling of “surely things can’t get any worse”

  9. Why are some of the zones not translated to English? Very few are going to know what “Mellersta Norrland” (Middle Northland) or “Hovedstaden” (the capital) means.

  10. Question for my fellow Italians:

What the actual fuck are you smoking up there?

  11. Surprised to see the Swedish far north here (Mellersta Norrland = Central Northlands). The stereotypical northlander is a cynic, but apparently that’s changing.

  12. Now do most pessimistic EU regions. I can guarantee most of them will be in Hungary :DD

  13. Polish people being extremely happy that abortion is banned in Poland 😂😂😂

  14. I am a person that lives 20 km away from Lower Silesia and 8 km away from Greater Poland, and I honestly don’t know how the hell is this true 💀 99% of my friends are pessimistic as fvxk (me too)

  15. Poland has improved a lot since the fall of the soviets and has a promising future ahead im not surprised about the survey
