Evening, I will soon be going on this journey twice in 36 hours so might as well road trip it. I think the first route looks the best 🤔 which scenic places close to the route can I stop and take pictures or possibly go for a short walk?

Stop in Kirkcudbright – there’s a nice little castle there and some shops. But quite near one end of the trip!

Go by moffat and Selkirk, yes it adds a couple of minutes but it’s a prettier route and you have moffat , graymares tail and st mays Loch , to visit
