1. Replacing the income tax with tariffs and Federal Reserve notes with privately issued currencies? The late 19th Century called Donald Trump and wants its disastrous economic policies back. That’s exactly what we need: an economic system built around the needs of tech oligarchs and robber barons, with absolutely crushing financial crises and bank panics occurring on average about every three years. Why would anyone want to go back to that era? The financial system was reformed and regulated in the early 20th Century to smooth out those distortions in the economic cycle. It isn’t perfect, but it’s much better than what existed before.

   The amount of crankery and economic illiteracy that’s coming out of the Trump campaign is a sight to behold. I don’t think the public really gets it, and frankly this report below understates it. If they get a chance to implement the policies proposed, the amount of wealth destruction that will be commenced globally will be immense. Historic levels of deflation.

2. Whenever I want financial advise, I call the flakeyist pathological lying fraudster on the planet. Does Chump have any original ideas, or does he just do what his puppeteers want?
