Almost alpine feels really close to the mediterranean sea: monte Beigua in Liguria

  2. In Sierra Nevada in southern Spain you have Alpine climate just 30 km away from the sea. It’s actually the third tallest mountain Range in Europe after the alps and the caucasus at 3479m high.

    And yeah, It does get snowcover every year. Enough to Grant it a ski station 😉 the southernmost in Europe.
