At the start of the pandemic someone joked that COVID was bringing Norwegians closer together.
Yeah. That joke is brand new and creative…
Nah. The general attitude seams to be that everyone is **horny as fuck.**
5m, maybe I’m scandinavian after all…
No Scandinavian community, certainly not Norway, ever (aside from a few weeks in easter of 2021) asked people to say 2m apart, it was 1m. A sosial commentary should be based on experience in that culture, not a perception of that culture.
Can someone explain the 5m joke, is it population density or everyone is introverted. Im just curious im sorry if I offended any one
I legit saw this in mid-2020.
Care to explain, guys?
I don’t get this.
For over a decade I’ve never known Norwegians to respect personal space.
I can’t look at something in a store because I will swarmed by Norwegians who are suddenly interested in what I’m looking at.
When I go to get milk at the store Norwegians squeeze in, basically reaching through me to get their milk.
Norwegians don’t understand queueing. The just form a dog pile around a cashier.
Not even at the height of the pandemic did Norwegians show any consideration for people’s personal space, let alone social distance.
They consistently stop to talk with their friends in high traffic pedestrian intersections and choke points.
And they love to talk with friends from opposite sides of a sidewalk making other people walk in between them, getting sprayed with germs from both sides.
