  1. Also trump was never a “Washington outsider” he was a “political hanger on-er” opportunist. A “man of the people” with a sea side mansion that he failed his way into.

  2. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.businessinsider.com/mark-cuban-trump-never-invested-in-us-startups-outside-family-2024-9) reduced by 81%. (I’m a bot)

    > Billionaire investor Mark Cuban has a question he wants people voting for former President Donald Trump to answer – and a point to prove about it.

    > "For all Trump supporters. A question. Which startups has Donald Trump ever invested in that didn't involve a family member?" the "Shark Tank" star wrote in an X post on Sunday.

    > Trump didn't seem to have any investments in non-family enterprises, Cuban later said in an exchange with another X user called Chart Westcott.

  3. I think his “FleeceTheMAGAsuckerNuggets” business was a solo venture that has been wildly successful and profitable.

  4. “What’s wrong with that? He’s a family man of God and his business is his business. He should be able to hire and fire who he wants. Some of the greatest businesses in the history of America were family owned and operated. Liberals don’t understand how to run businesses and that’s why I always vote Republican.”

There, that will be their response. You cannot argue in any sort of good faith with them. They will turn it around with buzzwords the minute you try.

  5. Cuban is merely pointing out how selfish Trump is, and that at 78 and with all his wealth, Trump has NEVER done anything that he or a family member hasn’t personally benefited from.

He’s proven to be a selfish scumbag who’s a rapist, a traitor, a convicted felon, and a lifelong criminal. RW voters willfully IGNORE all of this and insist that Trump is the better choice.

  6. Asking a Trump supporter for corroborating evidence always turns into whataboutism of the highest order.

  7. Trump supported the insurrection and attack on the US Capitol startup.

  8. Easy!

Well for a starters there’s…errr, ummm aaahh… and of course then there’s…aahh, what’s their name again?

  9. Cuban always finds a way to stir the pot with political discussions.

  10. All the politicians who now support Trump should be tarred with the same slimy brush.

They are now his enablers…and could have stopped him at any time.

Hopefully the electorate teaches them a lesson, too

  11. I seem to recall Trump permanently closing a lot of small businesses around the country during the final year of his presidency.

Interesting how nobody ever talks about all those businesses that closed their doors forever in the Trump economy after he told everyone not to worry about the “China Flu” or whatever nonsense he tried to name it rather than preventing the economic collapse and horrific loss of life we endured

  12. Mark Burnet created the apprentice and trump did nothing noteworthy to the skyline of nyc

  13. Cuban is wasting his time seeking a straight answer from delusional Trump supporters. The best thing to do is to treat them like they don’t exist. Ignore them. Work around them and don’t allow them to be involved in any capacity. That’s the best thing to do.

  14. So…..that is political…every party does it. Who was running the party when the president had a brain fog. Mrs President

  15. Trump was a big time supporter of Jeffrey Epstein’s startup

  16. Mark Cuban’s challenge to Trump supporters highlights a key critique of Trump’s business ventures—his tendency to focus on family-centered deals rather than broader investment in startups or innovation. Cuban’s point subtly questions Trump’s role as a business leader who promotes entrepreneurship beyond his own circle. It’s a clever way to call attention to the contrast between public perception of Trump as a businessman and the reality of his investment history.

  17. I don’t think his followers care anything about what he has or hasn’t done. All I can surmise is that they are assholes. Prove me wrong please. I’m too cynical. 😀

  18. The hard right voters who support him are of the same mindset. Conservative almost intrinsically means selfish and self serving. They would do exactly what Trump is doing with that money

  19. I appreciate Mark Cuban using his money to try to more directly help people here in the US who need prescriptions, that he’s somewhat reflective and sees people like Trump as dangerous to democracy. But billionaires still shouldn’t exist.

I don’t mind people being rich, to be honest. I think a billion is way above the hard cut off for that though.

  20. The cultist aren’t big on empirical evidence. Let it go.
