For allt He doctors know she could have been cheating, they could be swinging and honestly patients lie constantly. It is Not a doctors Job to Look Out for Predators more than everybody else, and afterall the medical only saw her a couple of Times their Friends and familys saw them constantly, why aren't they getting critised? The only reason why people blame medics is to avoid to unpleasent truths 1. Everyone can be an abuser (Your Brother, father, friend etc) 2. Everyone can become a victim (yes, you too). 19. This horrendous poor woman. How can a husband do that to his wife? I hope she gets some swift justice. How did these so called doctors miss this? Were they witch doctors?

Until MEN start widely and strongly proclaiming that this sort of behaviour is intolerable, until THEY start demanding stronger laws and stricter punishments as demonstration of their determination to end the violence and entitlement to women's bodies built into male culture, then women can never trust them. Men benefit from keeping these horrendous men around, because it makes THEM look better- at least THEY aren't the seventh ring of hell. That in part is why women are backing out of marriage, of child bearing, of relationships with men- until the dominant majority of men declare that these behaviours are unacceptable then women cannot tell the predators from the safe ones, which means avoiding them all is the safest course.
