  1. The Hare Krishna Temple is just off Oxford Street.
    Great photo👍

  2. As a Hindu ( Indian, not western born ), I’m a little confused by Hare Krishna. Is it hinduism ? And they “only worship” Krishna ?

I live between California and London( house in Bloomsbury). I’ve definitely seen them in the area and Covent Garden.

They *look* like they’re practising hinduism, providing free cooked meals ( like hinduism and later Sikhism ), Krishna is a Hindu god ( an avatar of Vishnu ) but where are they different from hinduism ?

Do they not worship Vishnu ?

Do they believe in karma ( Hinduism )?

Btw I’ve also seen Sikhs distributing food in Covent Garden. It’s nice to see Hindus and Sikhs practicing “ langar “ in foreign countries.

  3. I don’t mind the Hare Krishnas. Thee come out, have a little song and dance and then go back in again. I don’t mind the Jehovah’s, they stand around in silence with their little leaflets.

I hate the Islamic free Quaran people with the giant speakers blasting Islamic prayers

I hate the Cristian “preachers” with a megaphone

They can fuck off. If I was in power they would removed very quickly.

  4. Got pushed by one of em in Chinatown and dropped my food because I was reading a restaurant menu and apparently was in the way of their little song and dance

  5. Atheist here, and i love that we have freedom of peaceful speech, thought and expression. Long may it live

  6. Look if it’s alcoholism or this, I am in full support of people finding meaning in it.

  7. Are they related to Tulsi Gabbard’s SIF? And if they are, are they as homophobic as them?

  8. I feel like I see this guy every time there is something hari krishna related in London. He is everywhere with their stuff around central. Not sure if he lives there or is just one of their key volunteers
