Got a parking ticket yesterday in Belfast city centre as I was parked in a loading bay as were other cars- this was the sign above it. Anyone know if I can dispute and what to say? Really don’t fancy handing over £45 for a genuine mistake when I thought I could park there on a Sunday 😭

Well if you got the ticket on the Sunday, and the sign only says Monday-Friday, I would say you definitely have a case for an appeal
Sadly not the only one caught out by it, and pretty petty sounding from DfI in response to an [EIR response they gave](https://www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/publications/dfi2024-0281-information-about-parking-restrictions-loading-bays-chichester-street-belfast)
>There are no signs on Chichester Street detailing the parking restrictions in Loading Bays.
>There is no legal requirement to provide a vertical sign for enforcement when the bay has no time restrictions.
Feels very much like “we know it’s going to continue to generate revenue for us, so why would we put signs up?”

I’m not sure but I reckon loading bays might only be for loading
