Researchers find launch site for Russia’s nuclear-powered missile

This week Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov issued a warning to the West: “They should understand – they are joking about our red lines here. They shouldn’t joke about our red lines.” Coming from a nuclear power, that sounds like Russia would be prepared to use a nuclear weapon.
Right from the beginning of Russia’s war its President Putin has warned the West not to defy his ambitions in Ukraine. But Washington and its allies increased military aid to Ukraine.
Also this week, the Kremlin said it’s revising its nuclear doctrine. It’s believed that could mean a lowering of the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons.
And a new Russian weapon has grabbed the attention of the West. It’s not a nuclear warhead, but a new cruise missile that’s powered by a small nuclear reactor. It called the Burevestnik in Russia, but the United States has given it the name “Skyfall.”
US researchers believe they have now found the first launch site for the experimental missile. It’s believed to be located at a nuclear warhead storage facility, nearly 500 kilometers north of Moscow. President Putin says its nuclear propulsion system gives the missile an almost unlimited range and means it can evade missile defenses. Western analysts say the technology could pose more of a threat to Russian than its adversaries.

  1. The cogs of fate are turning, mind you, this will not be the first time that humanity has reached this level of technology and development before they used "weapons of terror" that had "brilliance of a thousand suns" to then reset themselves and everyone else back to the stone age. Einstein said "I know not what weapons will be used in WW3, but for WW4, it will be sticks and stones".

Enki or Enlil said "are humans destined to repeat our successes and failures?" As in, their conflicts also included use of weapons of terror. However, for our wrongdoings, we shall receive full retribution according to the book of Enoch.

  2. If a country is launching nuclear weapon, they wouldn't be worrying about the radiation spreading in the middle ! They would be like let us end the world !!! MAD !!

  3. I guess the US govt prefers 'Skyfall' since it sounds scarier than the meaning of the original bird name, Petrel, (Буревестник).

  4. This is all part of Russia's reflexive control. Putin wants the voters in the West to believe he would escalate to a nuclear war with NATO so that they pressure their governments to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. Russia would definitely lose a war against NATO though, those threats with these types of "horror" weapons are to scare us. It makes no other military sense, they aren't there to be used to win battles or damage c&c or supplies, they are there to manipulate how we in the West think about Russia and thus what we decide about it. Ideally decisions that benefit Russia in its war.

  5. Lol to anyone who calls this a "game changer". Nuclear jet propulsion is nothing new, it already existed in the 60's, both the US and Russia built a prototype bomber powered by nuclear jet engines and proved it really worked, and the US had even developed a nuclear cruise missile back in the late 1950's but instead of finishing it and putting it into active service they dropped them for ballistic missiles instead, which were superior in every way.

  6. The system was developed to attack the USA by flying trough the arctic . US doesnt have good protection from that side as there were no such cruise missile with such a range. Now it does

  7. You fools speak of nuclear armed superpower Russia, as though it's New Zealand or Ethiopia 😳?. There is no game changers, nukes are nukes, we will all die coz most of todays world don't understand or comprehend what will happen worldwide, globally during & after the nuclear exchange🤔??.

  8. 2 dudes is trying to find out if a NUCLEAR weapon is scary enough or not… The west is hopless at this point. What is wrong with you people? This war needs to stop untill Ukraine is totally ruined

  9. USA and NATO even have a school where Russia's weapons are studied. In their school they know nuclear ICBMS are ready targeting the USA, while shorter Ranges are targeting Europe. I now see why they have not decided to invade Russia but BBC told us Russia was left to fight with only shovels. Are the shovels the same ICBM?

  10. It' s very good because they don't need anymore to built special bunk to store the missile; they can
store directly on the air for long long time! Much chipper!

  11. Another technology (beside hypersonic) that Superior High Tech West does not have and even knows nothing about, yet washing machine chip Russia has.

Russian washing machines must have some awesome chips.

  12. Now isn't this INTERESTING…..
Notice the Octagon shape, Notice how there's 5 separate circles inside the octagon.
    This place is big,
    Question?
    Did they test this underground?
How many of these do they have?
What's the weight of the whole missile?
    How long is the missile?
    Could it be hyper-sonic?
This missile took a while to develop.

  13. Game changer as your thanks 😂😂 no way now we taking about Russian nuclear missiles that nobody else has hello but how they gonna talk about the enemy most powerful missiles ❓❓❓

  14. I’m not joking about these blurred lines

    Drop it on ME

put us out of our misery

I once thought I was lucky that the baby spared me the death ray a few months ago

    I’m bored now
