The Borough that’s had enough? You mean the Borough that has no cycling infrastructure what so ever and won’t even add on street parking bays for hire bikes because they think it’s Limes job to do it.
To reiterate what has already been mentioned…a borough that has next to zero cycling infrastructure, a borough that is plagued with vehicles footway parking and them doing SFA to enforce (I have mountains of evidence of this), a borough that refuses to put in dedicated bays to help alleviate the bike parking problem, has had enough? Mind boggling.
There is an issue of course but the issue isn’t being tackled by Brent Council at all. Their solution (in a borough that relies on buses or private vehicles to get around it with terrible traffic infrastructure and zero bus lane traffic parking enforcement meaning buses are often completely pointless to take) is to remove a great solution to making their borough liveable and workable in. They’re is something incredibly off with the Labour Party running Brent Council.
As well as the obvious issue that Brent clearly haven’t tried to make this work, the issue isn’t with ebikes as the article suggests, but with dockless hire bikes.

Brent is a shit borough
Brent Council is probably the worst council in all of London. I tried to get them to plant trees, resurface the roads in a few areas, tackle fly-tipping on my street, and install a bike hangar. Nothing happened. I had no support from my neighbours either, so I gave up: sold my flat, made a bit of money, and left

It would be a pity if something like this were to happen in London [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgq27q4kk3lo](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgq27q4kk3lo)
