    I know it’s PSG and they hate us, but if he’s set on coming back…I feel like that’d force their hand in working out a deal next year (prior to the last year of his contract).

  4. Of course, I would love him back! He’s a product of our youth academy and he bleeds white. The problem for him would be how to “escape” from PSG while he’s still in his prime.

  6. Only if he comes free. His contract ends in 2026. He’d be 28 yo then and that would be his last chance of gettin a big contract (already on 14M gross at PSG), so i dont think the club will want him.

  9. the problem lies he isn’t a direct carvajal replacement. many wouldn’t realize how important carvajal is, like carvajal can defend, participate in buildups too while trent and hakimi both are limited. hakimi is a beast as defensive fullback while you cant really put faith on trent to run back and save from the backline if needed. its just a mendy-davies debate all over again
