2. This is silly. I watched the Janet Reno skits back in the day, and I didn’t laugh at him being in a dress. I laughed because the skit was funny. Comedians get a little bit up their own ass about how politically correct they are now. It’s almost become a contest.

3. Eh, I don’t feel like the bits he did where he dressed as a woman were really an issue.

14. Everyone’s making a big deal about it but he personally feels bad about dressing as a woman for comedy after his close friend transitioned. She’s even fine with it but it’s a personal choice.

18. I feel like anyone should be able to play anyone. It doesn’t bother me if someone who isn’t my race, gender or sexuality plays someone who is.

19. Drag for comedy isn’t as funny now because men do wear dresses or more typically feminine clothes as fashion, so it’s not surprising to see a man in a dress. But growing up I never thought the conceit of it was to make fun of a woman. Good for Will if he felt like those sketches were mean spirited though.

20. I dont understand why people are upset about his comedy skit. It’s not like anybody has ever believed that Will Ferrell is a disrespectful person.
