LIVE: UN Security Council holds a briefing on Ukraine after recent Russian attacks

The United Nations Security Council holds a briefing on the situation in Ukraine. The meeting was requested by Ukraine in response to recent Russian missile and drone attacks that targeted multiple cities across the country.

The United States and Britain formally accused Iran on Tuesday of supplying short-range ballistic missiles to Russia to use against Ukraine, announcing new sanctions on Moscow and Tehran before a joint visit to Kyiv by their top diplomats.

  1. "What did you expect western colleagues?" My question to our eastern colleagues is "Who started it?" Those who had the power to start it also have the power to stop. But, will they choose to?

  2. Despite the consenus and the aid, these efforts have not stopped the ongoing assault against Ukraine or has it prevented the supply of ballistic missiles from another UN member. Sanctions have not worked. How long will the world watch what is happening? What is the next step? Perhaps the military forces from countries world-wide can unite in a decisive effort to a forced stop. Consider the alternatives – more of the same of what we've witnessed since 2022.
