Maybe leaving the largest trading bloc in the world wasn’t the smartest idea….?
Seems weird as the IMF has predicted it will continue to have the highest growth in the G7 [source](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-01-25/u-k-set-for-fastest-growth-in-g-7-for-a-second-year-imf-says)
But muh “fastest growing 7G economy”
Fastest growing in world! Foreign economies don’t count.
Brexit was such a brilliant idea.
Down down down we go!
In 50 years europe will be digital desert, absolutely dependant on what silicon valley companies and china puts in front of its consumers.
Wheres tbe european google, microsoft etc?
This sub’s tendency to try and dunk on the UK at every opportunity is kinda sad tbh. If we’re genuinely fine without them why are we still so salty?
A nation of fruit pickers and lorry drivers.
Well that sucks
It will be quite interesting to see where the forecast goes because from the report it’s predicting the following:
Q1 2023 = 1.8%
Q1 2024 = 1.1%
Q1 2025 = 0.9%

I’m quite sure that most EU countries are in recession.
