The EU countries hosting the highest number of beneficiaries of temporary protection from Ukraine at the end of July 2024 were Germany (1 110 600 people; 26.9% of the EU total), Poland (976 205; 23.7%) and Czechia (369 610; 9.0%).

Why so few in France though? I mean, Norway and Ireland, small countries of 5.5 million and 5.3 million inhabitants respectively, have more than it (France: 68 million inhabitants) . Even Belgium and its 11 million has more (I work in Brussels region, and I hear Russian spoken everyday in public transports, much more and more often than I hear Dutch).
Weird stats, INS says that we only have around 80 000 Ukrainians in Ro with 6500 with active jobs.

Switzerland took almost the same amount of people as France? That’s unexpected, the cost of living is high in Switzerland and compared to France it’s a small country.
Not saying this is the case for everyone but all those I’ve seen are driving fancy cars and living it large. Seems like the rich got out and left the poor suckers to fend for themselves.

What is that ratio? The eu population is 400 million, not 40. 4 million Ukrainians would mean about 1% of eu population, not 10
Honestly….I expected more considering the population of Ukraine.
It’s almost like they heard about Ireland very generous social welfare system.
Good we take care of the Ukrainian refugees and that we support Ukraine 🇺🇦!!.
Nonetheless I believe the men capable of fighting should be sent back to help their brothers on the frontline! These man are morally obliged to do so!
