  1. Switching from unisex trousers to unisex skirts is the obvious answer

  2. I’m sure there’s a joke about truffle pigs in there somewhere…

  3. At risk of exposing myself as very ignorant of female anatomy but why would they cause thrush?

  4. What would be the issue with unisex trousers? Aren’t men and women are the same down there?

  5. When you’re accustomed to privilege equality feels like ~~oppression~~ genital discomfort.

  6. Police uniforms have looked fucking shit for fucking years, most police officers look fucking scruffy as fuck.

  7. Are Tories going to latch onto this and make unisex clothing part of their culture war?

  8. I love the article highlighting a point about unisex uniforms being “woke”. It’s almost like it just a cost-saving measure so departments don’t have to buy two different uniforms, and has literally nothing to do with “woke”, whatever that means anyway.

Doctors wear unisex uniforms, but there’s no issue because they’re baggy. Nobody rants about scrubs being “woke”

  9. This is clearly just about poor design and manufacture. Plenty of unisex trouser brands around these days (the excellent Waawaa based in Manchester for example) and the universality of design is a selling point.

  10. Who makes the trousers? Castore?

Police forces need to do an Aston Villa and switch to Adidas ASAP

  11. Bamboo underwear for the win. My work trousers are crap for this. No problems once switching to bamboo underwear.

  12. This seems to have feck all to do with them being unisex, and more to do with them being cheap crap tbh

  13. Men wearing tighty whities: I sleep

Men wearing unisex trousers that CANNOT be any tighter than tight underwear: waah my testes and fungal infections wah let me wear man pants for men again waah

  14. With all the money soon to be saved, albeit with a few dead old people, I’m sure the government can find funds to provide adequate uniform to the fuzz. We didn’t finish off Old Glenneth down road, just so crime rates can continue to remain high.

  15. I think they should all be issued big baggy trousers, long red boots, ginger wigs and a red noses, job done. Coco the popo

  16. £50 it’s a contract to a Tory crony or product of a race to the bottom in terms of cost

  17. That’s not a unisex problem, that’s a too small problem.

    Wear a size up.

  18. “fungal infections”?

This sounds like a severe hygiene problem. Do they not wash themselves or their clothes on the regular?

  19. How are they supposed to squat like a Slav if their trousers don’t fit?

    They need Adidas 3 stripe.

  20. Shocking that this news story says that only policemen would complain about crushed testicles. Surely policewomen can have testicles as well. How do I report this as a hate crime?

  21. >Goodwin disagreed with these criticisms. She insisted that the new workwear was not a “woke” decision to provide the same uniform for men and women, but an “old-fashioned” and “cost-effective measure.”

    We arn’t progressive! We’re Cheapskates!

But yeah can’t disagree with the diagnosis of going back to the roots of the British state with “one size fits no-one”

  22. It’s cheap non-breathable materials. Unisex uniforms work fine for many other professions, I work in the NHS and almost all the uniforms are unisex, and none of these issues!

  23. Why is there a mission to make the two sexes the same?
