  1. Both parties serve the same corporate overlords including O&G, democrats just do it without the Evangelical Christian based social policy positions.

Either party you’re getting the richest 1% and big companies put above everyday people; either party you’re getting international american imperialism; either party you’re drilling more oil; either party you’re getting crackdowns on the border and less favourable conditions to climate migrants. But with democrats you’re getting all that without overt racism & with better policies on personal healthcare (abortion, gender affirming care)

  2. Please try to be realistic. The only way for the US to transition to renewable energy long term is to not be under the thumb of OPEC in the short term. Idealism is noble but ineffective. Pragmatism will actually accomplish things.

  3. The only way out from under fossil fuel is to build clean energy infrastructure: power lines and solar panels. There is no alternative. Only one of these candidates would actually negotiate a deal that permits power lines to be built as easily as oil pipelines or highways, and that’s Harris. Trump is happy with the current regulatory quagmire faced by new infrastructure.

It’s absurd to promise to take away people’s source of energy when we can’t even get the new stuff built. It’s not taking climate seriously as a problem.

  4. Really hope they are playing chess. I get it…you gotta get elected. However, any plan to move to clean energy has to include a draw down of fossil fuels.

  5. The majority of Americans do not seriously care about global warming disasters. It would be in a candidate’s best interest to just promote oil and natural gas if they want to be elected.
